Gentlemen: On behalf of X Holdings I, Inc., X Holdings II, Inc. and Elon R. Musk (all parties of “Musk”), we notify you that Musk parties intend to continue to finish the merger agreement dated on April 25, 2022.
Recently, Twitter acquisition of Elon Musk went back on the table with Twitter shares closing up 22% at $52.05 on Tuesday. Elon Musk will purchase Twitter for $54.20 a share, valuing$44 billion. At present, Twitter’s board of directors has accepted Musk’s tender offer of $44 billion. As Tesla’s CEO and the world’s richest man, he will act on years of dissatisfaction and shape the platform with his unique images.
So what does “Silicon Valley Iron Man” want in its acquiring Twitter?
First, HYPEBEAST once reported that Elon Musk’s personal assets officially surpassed $300 billion in July 2021, which was higher than GDP of Finland and Vietnam. By spending 40 billion dollars to acquire the social giant, he is the man who lives up to his fame as the world’s richest man.
Second, people knowing Musk all know that Musk has determined his three goals in this life, i.e. the Internet, new energy and space migration, when he was very young. Musk himself enjoys enjoy great popularity on Twitter. Once upon a time, he, on his own, increased Dogecoin by tens of thousands of times. However, Twitter is now “leftard” by engaging in political censorship and it has become a tool for party fight. Musk was once angry at Twitter’s banning the account of former U.S. President Donald Trump and held that Twitter is the town square at the digital age and should be free as long as it doesn’t break the law. Therefore, acquiring Twitter may means highly praising “absolute freedom of speech”.
Third, Twitter acquisition itself was a successful marketing event for Musk. With Twitter up by 22% and Dogecoin up as well, he is still a person with vested interests who can gain better public opinion advantages at the same time.
Fourth, this way is more efficient than building a new media because what he needs to do is only to directly affect Twitter’s operational policies as the first shareholder. Musk has enough power and money to do that. For a long time, each time Musk made fun of Twitter, a lot of net friends responded with “Buy it”. In fact, Musk’s acquisition of twitter should be closely related to his Starlink V2.A satellite Internet directly connected to mobile phones will finally appear in our world and the world’s largest messaging platform is going to be acquired by the boss of satellite Internet. People who didn’t have access to the Internet can now use twitter to express their own opinions. This shows that if Musk wants to do that, twitter will become a self-marketing position for all enterprises, brands and products under his control which can provide services to massive 3 billion to 5 billion users worldwide.
In this way, we can finally see the great blueprint of Twitter’s largest shareholder and the world’s biggest dreamer. So which projects will get dividends? The first one is SpaceX which aims to send humans to Mars and set up colonies there. This is closely related to the Starlink project. Musk’s Starlink network is likely to gather data of seven or eight billion people around the world in the future. This will be the most valuable asset of the information age, which is more valuable than any golden treasure.
Second, this will be a natural publicity channel for new energy car Tesla. Third, Iron Man meta-universe payment newly arranged by him has great potentials. Iron Man to Iron Man can break through the most important bridge between the Internet and virtual reality. The main goal of Iron Man is to build a digital financial system with highly secure, transparent and trusted automated transactions where asset owners control their own assets in the Metaverse era. We’ll see which one will win?
